Buuuut...on the other hand, need to raise some $ to take care of some things.
Figured id'e throw them on here and let the Homies get first chance on them, instead of some forum board.

Ahhh.....The Godd OL Daze.....How i miss them

I had so many of these decks,it was unbelievable!
Eric Dressen was my hero when i was a kid.
Hell,i even had a stint of being an AM. skateboarder back in the day.
That'll shock the hell outta a few of you! LOL!
how i miss the days of young sometimes.

Found this in my magazine's and books.

Yep,that's right. original 1940-1947 Big twin knucklehead shop manual. All pages intact.
smelling the pages when i open it is like going back in time. Although i have a huge love for British bikes, as i have stated before, someday i'll own a Knucklehead. That will be one bike that never gets sold. I wish i could copy all the pages off,but if i bend the the book flat, all the pages are gonna rip right out of it. i remeber picking this up for 18 bucks or something like that. Crazy man....crazy.

8 days and counting...

...

1931 Flathead cases i just picked up

i found these on good ol Craigslist. i couldn't believe that the guy only wanted 40.00 for them!
they aren't perfect, but jeez! He said they were 40's,but looking at the numbers, they are 1931.
i would love to own an old flathead or knucklehead. i love British bikes, but my favorite since i was a little kid was the infamous "Knucklehead". maybe one day.
what a score for 40 bones! i couldn't pass them up.

...

Chico- Thanks for the invite. I look forward to many fucked up photos (like this one) and outrageous rants.

but seriously- thanks!

A couple photo's my friend Bob gave me.

about a month ago,my friend Bob gave me 2 photo's that he made reprints out of. basically, they were prints from the originals.
1 is a guy hill climbing, about to eat it on what looks to be a panhead. pretty damn neat.

the second photo is a shot of some mailmen that delivered the mail on there little cut-down board trackers......i think of them as the first "cafe" type cycles.
that photo was taken in Spokane,WA. where Bob lives.

thank you very much for the photograph's Bob. awesome!

There will be more of these great photo's to come.

Blacktop Squadron.........

Blacktop Squadron is something iv'e been trying to get off the ground for sometime now.

it basically is (and will be) made up of friends who have a passion for motorcycles.
it's all about helping each other out and hanging out. i guess you could call it a loosely based "club"
more or less. it is not a 3 piece patch club or anything like that. probably end up being just a "shirt" club.
in a world where there are so many clubs,it's hard to keep one in contact. that is why this will be a pretty tight group. meaning there isn't going to be 50 members. probably not even more than 15 to tell you the truth.
it's open to HD's,Brit bikes, jappers. bobbers, choppers, cafe's, baggers etc.

hopefully more of the people i know will take interest in this.
we'll see.

i don't know dick about blog's, so bare with me.
i created this to talk about bikes and "how-to" work on them, tech tips.
i am far from knowing everything, but hopefully i can link this to other's that i know and we can all share idea's and creativity with eachother, without being heckled and whatnot.
any advice about how to do things with a blog, please tell me.

Be sure to check out my brudda from unuda mudda's blog link. pinstriping by Doc. it's good stuff.

Thanks,
Chico BTS.
