I've seen a few for sale on mikes blog. I think he was the one selling them too. Email him.
Thanks Louie,i just talked to Mike. All he has right now are the type with the wider base. Thanks though man.
I dont know how the swap meets are up there but i found those at the swap meet. The bars on Droopys and mine are both easily findable at the swap.
Jay,im out in IN. now.there isn't alot of swaps going on out here that i know of...at least good ones.if you come across a pair, please let me know...i miss LB swap. it's been years.
Ill let you know next pair i come across. Did i buy a fucked up peanut tank from you a while back on the Jockey Journal ? Pretty sure it was in a fire?
i dunno. maybe.if you did,i probably sent photos before it was bought.iv'e had a ton of old peanut tanks. some good, some that need work.
which bike is yours?i dig em both alot.
The black spray painted panhead's mine. I asked about the tank because we did some work to it, thought you might wanna see what became of it .
i dig the hell outta your pan.it will be awhile before i can gather the parts for mine.looking for BT flathead motor parts as well.i think i did sell you a tank. i can't remember rightly.is that it on the bike?if not, send me some photos to: email@example.com. 5.00x16 firestone on the rear?
Thanks! Thats not it on there but its going on there when i finish it and get it sealed. Its a 4.00" - 18" on the back. Only BTSV stuff i have is flywheels. That stuff is pretty scarce around here. Ill shoot you some pictures.
right on! couldn't tell from the photos if it is an 18 or 16.i really wish Firestone would make a 4.50 or 4.00x16....don't know why they havent.look forward to the photos Jay.please please, let me know if you come across a pair of those bars.iv'e had the wider ones, but can't seem to find a pair of the narrower ones like you and Droopy have.
Yea anything smaller than a 5"-16" is hard to come by.
